The Randell RFCOI9902 Evaporator Coil 19" x 20" Blast Chiller is the same evaporator assembly as commercial blast chilling equipment except the coil is 19" by 20" in size. It is mounted on the interior of the chiller and is connected to the refrigerant circuit of the system and used together with circulating fans to remove heat from the cabinet. With the evaporation of refrigerant by the coil, internal temperatures are decreased, which allows the product to be chilled quickly. In the refrigeration cycle it gives the cold generation surface that facilitates effective blast chilling.
