The Prince Castle 340-682S Toaster Motor & Encoder Kit is used to power the appliance by moving the conveyor belt, the encoder will monitor the speed and position of the rotation and the timing mechanism will work properly. The motor is provided with electricity to rotate the rope and the encoder provides input signals to the control board to coordinate toasting cycles. The kit is to be installed into the assembly and it will fit directly on the predetermined mounting points to fit in with the rest of the drive system.
