The Pitco B8023481 Gas Conversion Kit Propane To Natural Gas 35C+ works by substituting the high-pressure propane orifices and regulator springs with parts of natural gas-specific size. This mechanical variation is used to vary the fuel-to-air ratio and manifold pressure to maintain the burners igniting and producing a flame at the required thermal output. These parts are fitted directly to the burner manifold, the pilot light assembly, and the main gas control valve that is behind the front access door. The unit can be changed to use another fuel source by replacing that internal components.
