The Pitco 60132703 Fryer Ceramic Fuse is an overcurrent protection system that is installed in electrical systems to break the current if it is above a certain limit. It is a 2.5A fuse that works by melting its internal element when overloaded to prevent the flow of electricity to the wiring and other connected components in normal operation. In actual commercial kitchen and fryer work, it is applied in the maintenance or replacement of the original fuse that has opened because of overload. The size of 0.25" X 1.25" is compatible with the standard fuse holders.
