The Nemco NEMN55550-8 Easy Wedger - 8 Section is a replacement cutting element to be used in commercial parts machines which cut produce into wedge shapes. It has eight spaced blades that collaborate with one another to cut entire potatoes or other similar products into eight wedges. The wedger is attached to the cutting assembly of the machine and works by coming into contact on the produce when the produce is pushed through the blade array. It is used as a component of the wedging system that allows the steady portioning and stable operation in the kitchen and foodservice facilities.
