The Montague 2037-0 Burner Air Shutter Double Plate Cast Iron 2-3/4" OD is a replacement part that is used to regulate the supply of air to the burner in commercial cooking ranges. It is fitted at the inlet of the burner to regulate the ratio of air to fuel in order to maintain better combustion to stabilise the flame and maintain a steady heat production. The double-plate shutter is made of cast iron and does not lose its form or functionality in high temperatures. It operates together with other burner elements to maximize the cooking performance.
