The Montague 1979-8 Electric Thermostat Dial is a 2 1/4-inch diameter and is used to adjust the temperature of a commercial oven in a range of 200-500°F. It is compatible with electric ovens and allows the accurate manual control of the internal cooking temperatures in professional kitchen settings. The dial is attached to the thermostat control shaft and, as a result, operators can easily choose and adjust the amount of heat to be used during baking and roasting.
