The Montague 1070-7 Flame Sensing Probe 1-1/8" X 1/4" TAB is a gas safety system that is used in commercial cooking systems and is used to detect the presence of a flame to aid in better burner operation. It is applied in professional kitchens, restaurants, and food service, where consistent burner ignition detection is needed during the continuous cooking processes. The probe is connected to the control and gas system of the appliance which uses the other components to work by identifying the heat of the flame and aiding in the adequate control of gas flow.
