The Moffat M235610 Motor Shaft Seal is a sealing element that is used to encircle the motor shaft coming out of the appliance avoiding the entry of contaminants and controlling the friction at the point of contact. It is assisted into the mechanical part of the appliance in order to keep the internal cavity and the drive system apart as the motor turns to and as part of the fan and air circulation processes. This section is connected directly with the motor shaft and mounting surfaces.
