The Manitowoc 000010462 Ice Machine Compressor 115V 60Hz 1PH is used to circulate refrigerant throughout the sealed cooling system to compress low-pressure vapor into a pressure and high-temperature state for heat exchange. It is powered on 115 volts, 60 hertz, single phase, and is connected to the refrigeration cycle which removes heat out of the evaporator, allowing water to freeze into cube sized ice every time the production cycle is repeated. It is installed in the lower mechanical compartment where it is linked to the condenser, evaporator and related refrigeration lines.
