The Kason 10174000004 Edgemount Door Latch is a surface-mounted walk-in cooler/freezer latching part. It is used to lock a door by hooking a keeper on the door frame when closing the door, which allows the door a tight seal. This latch is meant to be mounted on the surface of the door, and can be attached quickly and easily without mortising the door edge. The product can be used in a large variety of commercial refrigeration applications and is designed to in hard conditions.
