The Johnson Controls G93ASL-4 Safety Valve 208/240 V is an electrically powered protection closure that is used to monitor and regulate the flow of gases in heating and burner control systems. It works by cutting off the gas supply in case a flame failure or improper operating condition is detected, which will provide to the proper operation of appliances. This element is normally fitted in commercial and industrial boilers, furnaces and gas-fired equipment where supervision of the flame is needed. It is used in the system together with ignition and control assemblies to assist in the controlled start-up operation and shutdown processes.
