When the liquid attains a certain height, the float closes a switch to end the fill cycle to prevent overflowing. This assembly is installed in the wash tank of suitable commercial dishwashing machines. This mechanical component keeps the system submerged, and by maintaining the proper fluid balance, the pump will receive enough liquid in each cycle.
