The Imperial 1006 Open Burner Gasket 2-11/16" X 1-1/2" provides an opening between the open ignition assembly and the gas range surface to restrict the spaces around the mounting area. The gasket is installed between the connected metal components to aid in the containment of heat and also ensure that the burner is in the right position. It is mounted on the bottom of compatible system open burners and is placed between the flame and the range top to allow it to be firmly seated in the cooking assembly.
