The Hobart 893052 Rinse Arm Shaft is used to support the rinse arm and make it rotate and spray the rinse water all over the dishwasher. It operates by giving the rinse arm a stable axis to rotate with the flow of pressurized water passing through it keeping the rinse arm evenly covering dishes throughout the rinse cycle. This shaft fits into the wash section of the dishwasher, through the middle of the rinse arm. Placement makes sure that the rinse arm is in the right position.
