The Hobart 718361 Door Spring 7" is a mechanical tension part used to provide a controlled movement of an oven door. This component exerts counteracting pressure on the door assembly, is used to facilitate opening and closing of the door, and to minimize the pressure on the hinges and other linkages in the normal routine kitchen operations. It is applied in commercial ovens where the door movement and positioning are a must in order to be able to access and service safely.
