The Hobart 342170-00002 Element 236V is a component to heat food using high-intensity radiant heat by passing an electrical current through an internal resistive coil. This unit transforms electrical energy into thermal energy enough to achieve and sustain the specific temperatures needed to bake large quantities commercially. This heating system is normally mounted in the inside cavity where it is attached to the side walls to be in contact with the convection airflow. The tubular design is designed to evenly spread heat throughout various rack levels to ensure the uniform quality of food.
