The Hobart 00-340307-00002 Element is an electric heating element, 240V, 5500w, that is to be used in commercial deep fat fryers. It transforms electricity into regulated heat and holding oil to cook activities. The component is mounted in the fryer tank and is activated under thermostat control, where it switches on and off in order to control the amount of heat emitted. It is the main heating element within the appliance, which allows the maintenance of frying conditions uniformly, as well as contains the recovery of the appliance when loading food and when prolonged service in the professional kitchen.
