The Henny Penny 151744 Open Fryer Solenoid Valve is based on the concept of an electrically actuated coil to raise or lower an internal plunger to regulate the flow of gas or liquid through the 1/2" NPT connection. The valve is activated when powered at 120V to permit flow and deactivated when the power is switched off to control the supply when using the fryer. This is a solenoid valve that is fitted into compatible open fryer units, which are usually fitted along the supply line where controlled delivery is needed.
