The Henny Penny 140042 Open Fryer Gas Valve Kit W/Solenoid controls the flow of fuel to the burner assembly in response to electrical signals sent to it by the fryer control board. This combined solenoid system is used to open and close the internal orifice so as to keep the particular thermal setpoints. The installation is in the inside plumbing manifold of the heating system and is between the main supply lines. This element also serves as a gas distribution point in the 390 and 690 series, which ensures the consistent flow of operations without a manual change.
