The Hatco R02.16.117.00 Hi-Limit Disk Kit is used in hot food holding and warming. It assists in preventing overheating of the unit since it switches off power when internal conditions surpass safe operating conditions. This hi-limit disk detects excess heat in the machine. The preset maximum temperature is set and when it is attained, then it automatically opens the circuit to prevent heating and damage. The hi-limit may be reset or changed when necessary after the problem is fixed and the unit is cooled down to get safe operation again.
