The Hatco 03.05.061.00 Water Treatment Unit W/Cartridge 9799110 consists of a concept of operation that directs the supply of water through a unique filtration medium that actively removes the scale-forming minerals and sediments. This mechanical operation eliminates contaminants prior to their reaching internal parts so that the quality of fluids throughout the heating cycle is the same. The assembly is normally mounted on the incoming cold water line just before a booster heater or steam equipment.
