The Groen Z012113 Casting Trunnion Race assists the smooth bearing surface of the trunnion. It works by enabling the trunnion to rotate with the least amount of friction when the kettle is tilted to pour or to clean. This trunnion race is fitted in the pivot housing of the kettle between the trunnion and the frame of the appliance. The positioning of it allows controlled motion of the kettle in operation to assist in maintaining a consistent tilt action and alignment with the drive or support system without jamming with the other components.
