The Groen 004050 Trap Steam Bucket Type is a replacement part that is used in commercial jacketed kettle cooking systems. It separates the condensate and non-condensable gases out of the steam jacket and leaves the steam to be used in efficient heat transfer to the kettle. This trap is installed on the steam line of the jacket connection of the kettle, and operates in the steam delivery system to ensure the correct thermal efficiency and eliminate waterlogging. In commercial kitchens, it is installed in the course of installation or replaced in the course to maintain consistent heating and efficiency of cooking.
