The Giles 20520 EAC Filter 20" operates on the concept of an electrostatic charge to attract and capture grease particles and smoke in the air of commercial kitchen exhausts. When the contaminated air is passed through the ionized internal cells, the particulates are charged and they stick to the collection plates. This element slides directly into the internal tracks of the compatible ventless hood system to facilitate appropriate filtration in the course of operation. It is a major step in the air purification process, which ensures a cleaner atmosphere by removing microscopic contaminants.
