The Garland CKG0893-01 Thermostat K with a 1/4 in x 7 in sensing element and 0.187 in D-stem is a temperature control unit that is calibrated between 100°F and 450°F and is utilised in commercial cooking equipment, and appliance to monitor and control the internal temperature. It detects heat through the stem, and feeds the appliance control system so that it can make changes to the heating components or gas valves to keep the desired temperature. It is installed in the oven cavity or control housing in kitchens and foodservice conduction and provides proper temperature regulation during cooking.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off the unit before beginning the installation process.

Step2: Open the control panel carefully to locate the thermostat and its capillary tube.

Step3: Disconnect all wiring connections and gently remove the sensing bulb from its position.

Step4: Remove the old thermostat from its mounting bracket.

Step5: Install the new thermostat securely in the same location.

Step6: Reconnect wiring and properly route the sensing bulb.

Step7: Close the panel and restore power to the unit.
