The Garland 1314119 Dial Overlay Insert Off 100-450 is a better temperature indicator because it fits into the control knob to show operating ranges as the dial is rotated. The printed markings are related to internal thermostat settings, and the operators can choose the heat levels between off and 450 degrees when using the equipment.
