Garland 1086700 Thermostat BJWA GV is an element that is used to control the temperature in commercial cooking ranges. It works by detecting the heat and activating the electrical circuit to control the heating components to ensure that the cooking conditions are proper. It used in controlled delivery of heat and prevents other parts of the machine to be exposed to too much heat by regulating the temperature changes. This snap-action thermostat reacts fast to changes, in proper operation of the cooking surface, and used in stable operation during cooking cycles, and communicates with the control circuitry of the system to keep the desired operation sequence.
