The Frymaster 816-0055 Ceramic Burner Gasket is a sealing element that is used to fit between the product assembly and the adjacent surfaces. It is 5/8 inch by 1/8 inch and forms a controlled seal that assists in the containment of heat and proper directing of the combustion gases in the process. This part is fixed when the tool is being serviced or when it is undergoing maintenance and it assists in maintaining a stable burning by minimizing heat loss and preventing gas leakage at the joint. It maintains a uniform cooking temperature, as well as aids in shielding other parts around the system from too much temperature.
