The Follett 171363 Water Sensor Kit is used to detect the presence or amount of water in the normal storage or drain region of the appliance and that provide a signal to the control system when the machine is in operation. The leads of the sensor are connected to the circuitry of the machine to provide input on the water conditions. It is attached to the inside of the appliance water storage or drain pan, where it must be in contact with water to be detected. The mounting points and connector type of the kit are compatible for integration.
