The Everpure CD385A Oxidice Disinfection System 120V works by producing ozone gas and introducing it to the water sump of the ice machine to destroy the growth of the microbes. This small generator blows in ambient air and forces this air through a core discharge chamber, where oxygen is converted to ozone, which then bubbles through a diffuser to treat the water inside the bin. This hardware eliminates the need to perform manual cleanings as often because it attacks biofilm and mold on the molecular level, making sure that the ice is not contaminated with chemicals or off-tastes.
