The Electrolux 0G9030 Pressure Braising Pan Lid Gasket forms a closed system between the lid and the rim of the pan when cooking under pressure. When the lid is closed, it compresses and does not allow the escape of steam and pressure during the operation of the unit. The gasket is placed in the periphery of the braising pan lid channel and fits into the specific groove to fit into the sealing area of the pan. It is designed to fit into the profile of the lid in order to be part of the pressure containment system of commercial braising pans.
