The Duke 175536 Ignitor Spark PSE-DK4 is an electric ignition component in commercial gas-fired appliances to produce what is needed to start the flame. It is installed in the ignition assembly of the appliance and generates controlled electrical discharges, which cause the gas to burn in the burner ports when the system requires heat. This ignitor is connected to the control module and gas valve to provide the delivery of the spark at the right time during start-up and cycling. It is there to supports in accurate ignition and reduce failed light-off. It is normally installed in commercial heating equipment when replacing it.
