The Delfield RF000085S Freezer Thermostat Service Kit is a temperature controller that senses the conditions on the inside of the cabinet and turns on or off the cooling process using the regulating mechanism. It reacts to the temperature variations within the icebox and triggers the cooling system to keep the desired temperature by controlling the compressor. This kit is fitted into the control part of compatible appliance units which are attached to the thermostat housing. The assembly contains the parts that are required to service the thermostat system to enable the evaporator to keep monitoring and adjusting the conditions inside.
