The Dean 8073556ALT Ignitor/sensor is a combined ignition and temperature sensor system installed in commercial fryer systems. This component triggers the burner firing cycle and measures the amount of heat to assist in proper control of the fryer temperatures in normal operation. It is applied in professional kitchen fryers where accurate ignition and temperature feedback are needed in order to cook safely and consistently. The ignitor/sensor is attached close to the burner unit and is connected to the control circuitry of the fryer, and operates with the control module and gas valve.
