The Dean 807-0800 Enclosed Coil Transformer 50VA 2-3/4" CTRS is an electrical power-conversion system, which converts the incoming line voltage of 120V to 24V in a control system of a commercial fryer. This transformer separates and decreases the voltage to allow low-voltage controls, thermostats, and safety systems to work properly when used in the normal operation. It is used in professional kitchen fryers in which control circuits independent of the high-voltage heating and ignition systems are needed. The transformer is installed in the electrical compartment of the fryer and is connected to the line and low-voltage wiring harnesses.
