The Continental Refrigerator NEK6187Z1 Compressor Hermetic works on the concept of compressing refrigerant vapor with the assistance of a motor-driven piston that raises the pressure and temperature, which is used in heat exchange. The unique 1/3HP design is powered by the standard 115V power supply and is the main mechanical power driver of the vapor-compression cycle in the appliance. This is a hermetically sealed unit that forces the cooling agent through the condenser and evaporator coils to keep the internal temperatures. It is usually fitted on the bottom or back of the cabinet circuit.
