The Component Hardware Group R20-1020 Non-Rise Edgemount Hinge is a mechanical hinge that is used in order to permit the doors or the access panels to be opened and closed without the need of vertical lift. It is attached to the edge of doors and lids in commercial appliances, such as foodsystem units, cabinetry and part enclosures where a steady alignment is needed. It has a 2-1/2 inch centre of the mounting hole to ensure that it pivots steadily and does not alter the door position in the process. In the assembly, the hinge will be used to distribute the load and provide repeatable movement when one uses it.
