The Cleveland KE54941-6 Safety Valve works automatically to release excess pressure in a system and avoids overpressure situations. It operates by a spring-loaded system that opens, when pressure rises beyond the preset limit, permitting the gas or liquid to be released under control. The valve is designed to be installed in commercial kitchen equipment or other applications and is connected to a 1/2" MPT inlet and a 1/2" FPT outlet, allowing a smooth fit in any existing system. Its small size enables it to be placed in tight locations without disturbing other components around it and the design of the valve enables it to perform consistently when used frequently.
