Cleveland 22223 Solenoid Valve is a 1/2” FPT, normally closed valve, which is suitable for use in steamers and boilers and requires 110/120V power. It regulates the flow of steam or water in equipment such as convection steamers models 9-PCDM-8, 9-PCEM-48-L, 9-PCGM-250-L, 9-PCGM-300-L, 9-PCSM-L. The valve is slim in size, occupying only 1-3/4” width, and is effective in regulating pressure; this makes it save a lot of energy and avoids breakdowns. It is suitable for use in systems that need accurate control of steam output in industrial cooking and other uses.

Installation Steps

Step1: Turn off the gas supply to the appliance and disconnect power.

Step2: Remove the old solenoid valve from the line.

Step3: Check gas pipe threads and connections for damage.

Step4: Install the new valve in the same orientation as the old one.

Step5: Tighten fittings securely and check for leaks with soapy water.

Step6: Reconnect the electrical wires to the solenoid coil.

Step7: Restore power and slowly turn on the gas supply.

Step8: Test valve operation by cycling the appliance and observing proper gas flow.
