The Blodgett R5079 Solenoid Valve Assembly 1/3" Outlet works through the application of electromagnetic force to open, or close the flow path of water or steam by working an internal plunger. This system translates electrical signals of 208/240V to mechanical action to precisely control the flow of fluids in the setup. The unit is commonly fitted in the rear mechanical compartment or utility panel of the oven usually close to the water intake manifold. It has a small footprint to fit within the internal space limitations of commercial cooking appliances.
