The Blodgett 50283 Float Switch Assembly SS is a secure and control system that is installed in commercial ovens to measure the amount of liquid in the steam wash system. It is mounted at the specified reservoir or sump place and it is used to detect when fluid is at a certain height and an electrical signal is transmitted to the control circuitry of the oven. In commercial kitchen situations it can be used to avoid overflows or dry-run situations when cleaning. Its purpose in the appliance is to assist in secure operation by maintaining the right levels of fluids.
