The Blodgett 37134 Convection Oven Meat Probe monitors the internal temperature of the food during the cooking process and transmits signals to the control system on the oven to assist in controlling the cooking process. It works by having a temperature-sensing tip, which detects the changes in temperature and transmits the readings during the cycle. This probe is placed in the cooking cavity and is usually inserted directly into roasts, poultry, or other large foodstuffs. It is also made to blend with the monitoring elements, and allows the oven to maintain the same cooking results in the specified models.
