The 5/8 inch blower wheel, 10 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches wide, is intended to move air efficiently through the oven chamber. When hooked up to the oven's blower motor, the wheel spins like crazy to create a plenty flow of air, helping, no matter how complex the au gratin is, the flow of heat from oven to food evenly.
