The Blodgett 08717 Main Burner Orifice is a set of two gas burner openings of the correct size to fit in a compatible commercial appliance system to control the supply of gas to the main burners. The burner assembly has each orifice installed in it, where the gas is metered before ignition to maintain a uniform flame during cooking. This orifice set is installed or changed during maintenance to ensure that the heat output is correct. These orifices are present in the gas delivery system of the appliance to aid in maintaining constant combustion and constant temperature operation under normal operating conditions.
