The Beverage Air BEV312-054B Compressor compresses the refrigerant vapor at low pressure into a high-pressure gas to start and maintain the refrigeration cycle in the system. It is driven by a 1/4HP motor running at 115V and 60Hz to provide the required pressure difference between the evaporator and the condenser to allow constant heat transfer and temperature regulation. This compressor is mounted in the lower mechanical compartment of the unit, attached to the base frame and hooked up with the condenser coil, evaporator coil and sealed refrigerant lines in compatible refrigeration equipment.
