The Avantco 400043 Thermopile 24" 2 Lead is a temperature-sensing electrical connection system that is used in commercial cooking equipment. These leads are the extensions of the wiring of the sensing elements so that the millivolt signals produced by the heat at the flame source can be transmitted to the control module when the system is operating normally. They are applied in professional ranges, ovens, and broilers in which accurate flame detection, and secure electrical connection are necessary in order to facilitate regular ignition and safe burner operation.
