Manitowoc 83-6904-9 Ice Machine Float Valve Assembly Strainer is used in commercial kitchen appliances to control the flow of water to the ice maker reservoir. The float mechanism measures the water level and halts supply when the proper height has been ensure, whereas the strainer blocks any incoming water to limit the entry of debris. This is an assembly fitted in the internal plumbing and connected to the water supply line and the reservoir of the machine to assist in maintaining a controlled flow of water in normal ice production cycles.
