Manitowoc 000008660 Ice Machine Ice Thickness Probe Assembly

Manitowoc 000008660 Thickness Probe Assembly is an accuracy sensor that is used to measure the ice thickness in commercial ice machines. It controls the ice on the evaporator plates, which gives the control system the correct information to achieve maximum ice production and uniformity. This assembly is normally fitted to ice machines that are used in food systems and hospitality settings where consistent ice production is a requirement. It can control the freezing cycle to ensure that operational efficiency is maintained, overproduction is avoided and that the entire performance of the ice-making system of the appliance is supported.
