The Moffat M015115 Ignition Electrode Kit is an essential component of combustion that produces the spark to trigger burner ignition in compatible cooking equipment. This kit contains one or more electrodes which are mounted close to the burner, to produce a high-voltage spark when energized to assist in initiating the combustion process. It is connected to the ignition module and is placed in such a way that the spark is able to contact the burner surface. This ignition electrode kit is used in the overall assembly to assist in proper and timely ignition in normal operation and routine servicing.
